Some Tips:
1) It is a good idea to have plenty of $1 bills for tipping bartenders and poolside servers. Best way to ensure fast service at an all-inclusive.
2) If you ask for a cocktail and do not specify the liquor brand, you will get the cheapest thing they have. There will be recognizable brands available as part of the all-inclusive, but you'll need to ask for them specifically (usually Cuervo, Johnny, Smirnoff, Bacardi).
3) Most establishments, including the hotel, stop servicing alcohol at 11PM. Order extra room service or at the bar beforehand.
4) The water in front of the hotel is a bit rocky, but you can just walk slightly north for a sandier swim.
5) Walk out of the front of the hotel, go straight for 1 block, and you will hit 5th avenue. Turn left for more touristy things, right for more local.
